💿 Download the Software
Visit microsoft.com/software-download and choose your product (Office or Windows). Click Download — this is the official Microsoft installer. It's free to download; the license key unlocks it.

⚙️ Run the Installer
Open the downloaded file (.exe for Windows, .pkg for Mac). Follow the on-screen wizard. Installation typically takes 5–15 minutes depending on your internet speed.

🔑 Enter Your License Key
When prompted for a product key, carefully type or paste the 25-character key from your email (format: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). Click Next or Activate.

✅ Activate Online
The software will connect to Microsoft's servers and verify your key. This requires an internet connection and takes about 30 seconds. You'll see a confirmation screen when done.
