Common Issues & Solutions
โ "Invalid Product Key"
Double-check you entered all 25 characters correctly with dashes. Make sure there are no spaces at the start or end. Try copying and pasting directly from your email.
โ "Key Already Used"
Each key can only activate on one device. If you've replaced or reinstalled Windows, contact our support team โ we can help reactivate or provide a replacement key.
โ "This key is for a different version"
Make sure you downloaded the exact version your key is for (e.g., Office Home & Student vs. Professional Plus). Re-download the correct version from Microsoft's website.
โ Activation Server Unreachable
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Temporarily disable your VPN or firewall and try again. Check Microsoft's service status at status.office.com.
โ Never received the key email
Check your spam/junk folder. Search for emails from SoftDeal. If still missing after 30 minutes, contact us with your order number and we'll resend immediately.
